This workshop will provide an overview of the Interactive Process and how Accessibility Specialists can facilitate effective, collaborative conversations with employees and units to navigate reasonable workplace accommodations. Presenters will discuss how accommodation reasonableness is determined and how accommodations can support employees in performing their essential job functions.

The session will also include a role-play scenario, giving attendees a practical look at the questions asked and materials reviewed throughout the process.

American Sign Language (ASL) interpreting services and Communication Access Realtime Translation (CART) captioning services will be provided. If you need additional accommodations to participate in this webinar, please email the ADA Coordinator at ADAcoordinator@umich.edu.
