Vienna Boys Choir-Christmas in Vienna
Location: Hill Auditorium, University of Michigan Central Campus, Ann Arbor
Cost: Group discounted ticket price $7 per person. Students, scholars, friends, and families are welcome. Same price for all, regardless of age. Children under the age of 3 years will NOT be admitted to this event. Children over the age of 3 years must be accompanied by an adult. Wear comfortable shoes and dress warmly for walking to Hill Auditorium.

Register: In order to reserve your ticket for this event, you must sign up and pay in advance by the deadline at the front desk of the International Center (IC) on Central Campus. Cash only and exact change is appreciated, thank you! A UMID must be presented by the person purchasing the tickets. Limited space is available.
Meeting time and location: We will walk together from the IC to Hill Auditorium. Please arrive at the IC (603 East Madison entrance) to receive your ticket at 3:20pm. The group will leave the IC at 3:30pm!
Event Description: Around 100 choristers between the ages of 10 and 14 are divided into four touring choirs, which continue to delight music lovers with their purity of tone, distinctive charm, and a diverse, crowd pleasing repertoire that encompasses Austrian folk songs and waltzes, classical masterpieces, beloved holiday favorites, and medieval chant. Long a subject of fascination, the VBC will be featured in a 2009 documentary film entitled Silk Road, Songs Along the Road and Time, showcasing the globetrotting choristers during a year in their home in Vienna and on tour, working with artists from Central Asia, China, and India.
