Find the AISES table at the UM Powwow this year to learn about indigenous science!
Attendees will get to learn about traditional dye techniques of indigenous communities around North America and we will make use of red cabbage-based dye to teach about the pH scale. Participants will be able to use household food items to dye their own handkerchief or bookmark which they can take home. All materials provided, safe and fun for all ages.
