The University of Michigan’s Partners in Health Engage is proud to host the inaugural Health Equity Gala, an evening dedicated to advancing global health justice. As a student-led chapter of the internationally renowned Partners in Health, we advocate for equitable healthcare, amplify marginalized voices, and inspire systemic change.

Rooted in the belief that healthcare is a human right, this gala unites campus and community leaders to address critical public health challenges. With threats to public health equity rising—such as defunding essential programs and restricting care—it is more important than ever to take action.

By fostering dialogue and collaboration among public and global health organizations, we aim to drive meaningful change. Join us in celebrating the power of collective action and reaffirming our commitment to ensuring health as a universal right. Many professionals working in the field of global health will be at this gala to discuss their works and network with students.
