From Knowledge to Practice: Supporting 2SLGBTQIA+ Students
This new, 90-minute interactive workshop will explore current data on LGBTQIA2S+ student experiences at U-M and in higher education, highlight key climate challenges, and examine evidence-based protective factors that support safety, belonging, and mental health.
Through reflection and discussion, participants will consider how their roles can contribute to creating more affirming and inclusive environments for LGBTQIA2S+ students across campus.
This event is intended for faculty and staff, as well as graduate student instructors and those on a pathway to working in higher education.
