This conversation with Dorothy Roberts and Joyce McMillan centers the lived experiences of families impacted by welfare systems and considers possibilities for building new systems of care. Moderated by social work educator and practitioner, Rick Barinbaum, attendees from a range of educational backgrounds (e.g., social work, sociology, law, public policy, medicine) will deepen their understandings and discover new perspectives—all while laughing together and learning from these incredible scholars, educators, and advocates.
