Musician and composer Paul Skripnik had for many years been prevented by his seizures from taking full advantage of his talents. After successful surgical intervention by UMHS physicians, he is now seizure free. Skripnik produces classical concerts benefiting the Epilepsy Foundation of Michigan and is currently composing a work for full orchestra for the Grand Rapids Symphony. He studied music composition at the Cleveland Institute of Music. This concert is part of U-M Investing in Abilities Week events. Skripnik will also be serving on a panel in MCHC in C.S. Mott Children’s Hospital later that day.
