If you missed the last time or just want a refresher, Joel from the OPA is offering his negotiation workshop again via Zoom!

In this 90-minute interactive, skills-based workshop, you will practice the art of negotiating with confidence. Based loosely on the “Getting to Yes” paradigm from the Harvard Negotiation Project, we will discuss the difference and pros and cons between so-called positional bargaining and interest-based (or principled) negotiation. The workshop will highlight how negotiations form a central part of academia and the postdoctoral journey, and we’ll roleplay a simulated negotiation to help you practice some new skills.
