This workshop invites participants to rethink what “disability inclusion” really means—starting with the assumptions we carry every day. Together, we’ll define and explore common models of disability, examining how each one shapes the way we interpret access needs, accommodations, and belonging. Through real-world examples and guided reflection, attendees will identify which models show up in their own language and decision-making—and leave with practical shifts they can make to help unlearn ableism and support more genuine, disability-inclusive spaces at work and in life.

American Sign Language (ASL) interpreting services and Communication Access Realtime Translation (CART) captioning services will be provided. If you need additional accommodations to participate in this webinar, please email the ADA Coordinator at [email protected].
