This event is an opportunity for new students (first-year and transfer) who are first-gen (first in their families to pursue a four-year degree) to meet other new first-gen students. At this event, there will be community-building activities, food, and a resource fair featuring organizations that serve and support first-generation college students. There will be giveaways and first-gen swag at this kick-off event for the fall semester.
