Updates About the Elimination of Duration of Status for F-1 Students

The International Center will host a series of sessions to share recent changes introduced by the DHS rule to eliminate duration of status. These sessions are open to U-M F-1 international students and their dependents.
Target Audience: All U-M F-1 Students, including those on OPT (Ann Arbor)
Key Topics:
Elimination of duration of statusIntroduction of a fixed period of admissionRestrictions on student mobility (school transfers and changes to educational objectives)
The same content will be addressed at each session. Additional dates will be determined as needed. Sessions will not be recorded and are closed to the press.
