EEB Tuesday Seminar Series - Adaptation of weedy plants to diverse pollinators, multiple crop planting seasons, and organic fields
Robin Waterman, Postdoc Fellow, Baucom Lab
Seminar Summary - I will be giving an overview of the research I did during my PhD to learn more about how agricultural weeds evolve in response to various selection pressures. I will touch on floral traits in weedy wild radish, seasonal phenology in Canadian horseweed, and adaptation to organic fields by three common annual weeds. I will end with a brief preview of the work I will be doing with the Baucom lab and the Meet the Moment group during my postdoc at U of M.
