The Department of Computational Medicine and Bioinformatics at the University of Michigan has established an endowed lectureship honoring Dr. Gilbert S. Omenn for his long and illustrious career. The Omenn Lectureship inauguration will be held on October 28th at 4:30PM in the Kahn Auditorium at the A. Alfred Taubman Biomedical Science Research Building located on the U-M Medical Campus.

The first Omenn Lecturer will be Dr. Leroy Hood, the 2013 recipient of the U.S. National Medal of Science from President Obama. It will be followed by a 5:45 PM poster session and reception in the Omenn Atrium.
