From Passive Prompts to Active Agents: Transforming Campus Workflows with M-Connectors

This hands-on workshop introduces M-Connectors—a Model Context Protocol (MCP) integration that connects U-M GPT directly to live campus systems, external APIs, and active data repositories. Discover how to transform GenAI into active agents capable of querying live data, maintaining deep context, and performing authorized tasks across tools like Canvas, Google Workspace, Slack, and Zoom—all within U-M's secure enterprise privacy boundary.
