Caren G. Solomon, M.D., M.P.H., senior deputy editor at the New England Journal of Medicine and associate professor of medicine at Harvard Medical School and Brigham and Women’s Hospital, will discuss the evolving landscape of climate change and health publishing, including key gaps in our understanding of how fossil fuel-related pollution affects human health. She will also share an editor’s perspective on what makes scientific work compelling to a broad audience, with particular attention to framing, significance and communicating why a study matters.
