Register: In order to reserve your spot for this trip, you must sign up and pay in advance by the deadline at the front desk of the International Center on Central Campus. (Cash only and exact change is appreciated, thank you!). A UMID must be presented by the person purchasing the tickets. Limited space is available.
Meeting location and time: Please be on time! Participants may choose to board the bus from either Central Campus or North Campus at one of the locations designated below. Upon our return, participants may choose to be dropped off at Central or North Campus locations. Pick-up Location Meeting Time Central Campus: International Center (603 East Madison Street) 9:30am North Campus: corner of Bonisteel Blvd and Murfin Avenue 9:50am
Please Note: The bus will depart the North Campus location at 10am for Canton.
Event description: Join us for a day of shopping at one of the most popular stores around. IKEA is one big store filled with thousands of items. The store covers 311,000 square feet so be sure to wear comfortable walking shoes! The store has a collection that includes bedroom, children's room, dining room, kitchen, living room, workspace items and more. Items include anything from sofas and arm chairs to decorations and plants. Explore over 54 room settings and 3 model homes.
You can store the things you buy in the baggage compartment of the bus for the trip back to Ann Arbor. Please remember that you will have to transport anything you buy home from our pick up locations. If you are interested in purchasing larger items, IKEA delivery is available for a fee. If you need a break from shopping, grab a popular window seat and enjoy Swedish cuisine at the IKEA restaurant and market.
