Human Trafficking: Modern Day Slavery, a Growing Problem in the U.S.

Speaker: Bridgette Carr, Clinical Assistant Professor, U-M Law School
Professor Bridgette Carr will discuss cases of human trafficking in the U.S. and the role of the U-M Law School’s Human Trafficking Clinic in representing such victims. Professor Carr directs the Human Trafficking Clinic at U-M, which launched the nation’s only comprehensive online database of human trafficking cases. Professor Carr also oversees a grant from the U.S. Department of State to launch a human trafficking clinic in Mexico.
