Hiroya Tsukamoto, from Kyoto, Japan, is currently based in New York City. He came to the US in 2000, and since then has been leading concerts here and abroad, including appearances at the Blue Note in New York City. He has developed a unique acoustic sound, blending folk music with his Japanese roots.
