Class meets first & third Thursdays, 1/23, 2/6, 2/20, 3/6, 3/20, 4/3, 4/17, 5/1, 5/15. Facilitated by Stu Simon and Leo Shedden.
We will discuss eight critical issues facing the U.S. this year. A course briefing book provides background information, current data and policy options for each issue. The topics are: Defense Technology, Israel, Turkey, Islamic awakening, Energy Independence, Food/Climate, China's foreign policy and U.S. Trade Policy. Briefing book will be available for pick up at the OLLI office.
