U-M Social Impact Challenge Finals

The campus and local community is invited to attend the 2014 Social Impact Challenge Finals!
The Social Impact Challenge, hosted annually by the Nonprofit and Public Management Center (NPM), is a multidisciplinary team-based competition that allows graduate students to address real issues for an organization that delivers social impact. For the 2014 Challenge NPM has partnered with Detroit Future City (DFC) to focus on systems transformation strategies for equitable growth in Detroit.
Attendees of the Finals will watch the top teams present and learn about the proposed Challenge solutions, followed by a keynote address from DFC Implementation Office Executive Director and former Detroit Mayor, Ken Cockrel Jr. After the winning team is announced, attendees are invited to participate in a networking reception with hors d'oeuvres.
