Jazz percussionist Pete Siers has an international reputation for his intensely physical yet dynamically sensitive drumming, attention to detail, and mastery of many different styles. He recently played Carnegie Hall, has toured Europe several times, and is a long-time favorite at many jazz festivals across the US. In addition to his performance and recording career, Siers has taught percussion and jazz drumming for over 25 years at U-M, Emory University and Interlochen School of the Arts, among others. For his piano jazz trio, he is joined by Tad Weed on piano and Dave Bennett on clarinet. The jazz arrangements are unique yet reminiscent of the 1950s Gene Krupa Trio.
