The String Preparatory Academy at the University of Michigan School of Music, Theatre & Dance provides the highest quality of string training to pre-college musicians in elementary through high school. Cello and violin students receive private lessons with faculty, guest, and graduate student instructors. All String Preparatory Academy students participate in monthly masterclasses presented by renown U-M string faculty. Students also receive instruction in the preparation and presentation of concerts within the community.
