P3’S ON A UNIVERSITY CAMPUS: A PROBLEM OR A SOLUTION?
OLLI at U-M (50+)
Speaker: David Cantor, M.D., Executive director, U-M North Campus Research Complex
There is nothing new about public-private partnerships (P3). Universities have not participated much. However, the world is changing. What has been our own experience, what can we learn from others, what has been tried without success? Dr. Cantor is a physician, scientist and respected leader who once led the Pfizer pharmaceutical research operation in Ann Arbor. He now has the responsibility for mapping, developing and implementing the university’s strategy to make the most of the NCRC site’s 28 buildings and dozens of acres of open land.
