National Library Week: A Town Hall Discussion with the President of the American Library Association
Join us for a special National Library Week event where 2013-2014 American Library Association President Barbara Stripling engages the audience in a town hall style discussion on the state of libraries in America.
Stripling is Assistant Professor of Practice at Syracuse University, preparing the next generation of librarians for the communities of the future. She has written or edited numerous books and articles on inquiry, assessment, instructional design, 21st century skills, empathy, and primary sources. Her Stripling Model of Inquiry has been adopted widely as a framework for teaching and learning.
This event is co-sponsored by the Ann Arbor District Library (AADL) and the University of Michigan Library.
