Panos Leventis
Walls of Crisis: Street Art and Urban Fabric in Central Athens, 2000-2012
Panos Leventis is an Associate Professor and International Studies Coordinator at the Hammons School of Architecture at Drury University in Springfield, Missouri where he served a 5-year term as Director of Drury’s Study Abroad Centre in Volos and Aigina (Greece). He taught at USC’s Study Abroad Program in Milan and Como (Italy), at McGill’s School of Architecture in Montréal, and at the University of Cyprus in Nicosia, where he aided in the formation of a new Department of Architecture. Leventis has published and lectured extensively on Architecture and Urbanism in Europe and North America and is the author of “Twelve Times in Nicosia. Nicosia, Cyprus, 1192-1570: Architecture, Topography and Urban Experience in a Diversified Capital City,” published by the Cyprus Research Centre. As a licensed Architect in Cyprus and Greece since the mid-1990s, Leventis has numerous built projects and has been awarded entries in national and international Architectural and Urban Design competitions.
