Drawing material from the South Asian American Digital Archive (SAADA), this exhibit explores signal events, processes, individuals, and institutions that constitute South Asian American history and diaspora--from the congealing of migration channels and emergence of community life in the early twentieth century, to the community’s contemporary presence in a radically altered epoch of American immigration and naturalization laws, capitalist globalization and post-colonial geopolitics.
