Introduction to Survey Design: Data Collection, Questionnaire Design and Response Processes
Fred Conrad is a Research Professor with the Institute for Social Research, Program in Survey Methodology at the University of Michigan, and an Associate Research Professor with the Joint Program in Survey Methodology at the University of Maryland.
His research interests include conversational interaction, especially in survey interviews; adaptive interfaces in web surveys, including animated or virtual interviewers; smart phone surveys; and questionnaire pretesting methods. He has taught numerous courses focusing on the social and cognitive foundations of survey measurement and survey data collection methods, among others.
