Over nearly four decades of exploring the panorama of Louisiana music, BeauSoleil and leader Michael Doucet have re-created a culture and become its ambassadors. They're named not for sunshine but for Joseph Broussard dit Beausoleil, the leader of the Acadian resistance to British deportation efforts beginning in 1755.
