John Zaretti, president Verdi Opera Theatre of Michigan. Mr. Zaretti’s presentation will highlight the story of the extraordinary lives and working relationship of Mozart and librettist Lorenzo Da Ponte which resulted in three of Mozart’s greatest operas and transformed the operatic world. The lecture will include colorful projected images illustrating the adventurous and entertaining aspects of the Mozart-Da Ponte collaboration and its effects in Europe, and America.
