Academic Research with Google
There is more to the World Wide Web than meets the eye. Buried beneath the public web lies a vast invisible web, parts of which are accessible only with library-provided resources. Understanding the differences between public and invisible web content is the first step in effectively uncovering scholarly research using Googles search engine. During this workshop, well employ 5 advanced search techniques and 3 special Google services (News, Book Search and Scholar) to explore the scholarly content on the public web.
