Jong Ei JupGi-Korean Origami
Basics + creativity
Jong Ei JupGi is a Korean art of paper folding like Japanese Origami. Learning paper folding is a fun and creative activity that is good for seniors, as it helps with hand to eye coordination and memory. After learning basics of paper folding, students will enjoy a rewarding creative activity. There is an additional materials fee of $12, payable to the instructor on the date the course begins.
Myeong Sook Shin graduated from art school in South Korea and is now responsible for the Michigan Chapter of the Korean Paper Culture Foundation. She has been teaching Jong Ei JupGi for the past seven years.
This class for those over 50 meets Mondays, October 6 - November 24.
