This program prepares participants for the live HD TV broadcasts of 12 performances during the 2014-2015 season from the Metropolitan Opera House to local movie theaters. Activities supplement each Saturday broadcast during two evenings of its preceding week with presentation and discussion of related opera performances, films, guest lectures, and optional readings. Opera enthusiasts and novices are equally welcome.
Dr. Adelman is an Emeritus Professor of Biological Chemistry and Past Director of the Institute of Gerontology at the UM Medical School.
