U-M percussion alumnus Payton MacDonald, of the wunderkind ensemble, "Alarm Will Sound", will present a unique vocal concert of Indian singing in "Dhrupad" style. This style is extremely rare, even in India. Many attendees from outside the University, including local Indian community members are expected. This recital is sponsored by the Performing Arts Technology, Percussion, and Ethnomusicology departments.
