President Mark Schlissel to appear on C-SPAN morning program
C-Span Bus To Visit The University Of Michigan During Big Ten Tour
University President Mark Schlissel will be interviewed on C-SPAN at 9:15 a.m. when he will participate in C-SPAN’s flagship morning program, Washington Journal, via the mobile studio on the Bus. Schlissel will discuss higher education and take calls from C-SPAN viewers.
The Bus, now in its 21st year on the road, will be at the University of Michigan and other locations helping to inform communities about the public affairs network. It is visiting cities, schools and universities across the country, promoting C-SPAN’s educational and political resources for students, teachers and community members along the way.
Events:
9:15-10 a.m.: Interview with President Mark Schlissel, 915 E. Washington St., from the bus parked in front of the Rackham Building. This is followed by an Open Bus Event from 11 a.m.-1 p.m.
In Ann Arbor, C-SPAN programming is carried on Comcast channel 96.
