This workshop provides an overview of the Flash CS4 interface and basic functionality, including Layers, Symbols, Instances, Tools and the Stage, ending with the creation of a simple animation on the main timeline. Participants should be able to find and start the Flash CS4 program on a PC. Basic familiarity with another piece of Adobe Creative Suite software, like Photoshop or Illustrator, is a plus. The instructor is available for questions about possible educational applications of Flash.
