As the College of Literature, Science, and the Art's featured speaker in honor of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, Professor Richen will draw on elements from her latest film, The New Black, to help our community engage matters of race, sexuality, gender, and marginalization as they have been raised by the discourse around #BBUM and in light of tragic events--most recently in Ferguson and New York--that continue to shape all our of lives.
