This concert features a program of Chinese percussion and wind music: a traditional and contemporary repertoire that playfully manifest Chinese rhythms, melodies, performance styles, life stories and imaginations. All the compositions, except for one, in the program are contemporary arrangements of traditional Chinese music, which demonstrate change and continuity in Chinese music in global contexts.
