MIX (Multi-Ethnic Information Exchange) and SISJ (School of Information Social Justice) are hosting 3 design jams to help form a consistent look, marketing, and website for the Washtenaw ID Project. The first is next Friday, Jan. 30. The Washtenaw ID Project is a partnership between the County of Washtenaw and local advocacy organizations, led by Synod Community Services. The goal is to provide photo ID cards for everyone in Washtenaw County regardless of immigration status.  County government officials voted to pass this program in November and the roll out will be mid-April 2015. We need help to brand the ID card to raise awareness in the community. The first event is focused on branding. Design groups will be formed at the event itself. Prizes will be available to groups with winning designs! What: Design and Branding for the Washtenaw ID ProjectWhen: Friday, January 30, 2015 5:00-8:00 pmWhere: North Quad 2255, University of MichiganFood: Pizza!
