A free e-waste recycling event will help area residents recycle electronics in an earth- friendly way. E-waste is the fastest growing waste stream in the country and frequently contains hazardous materials like lead and mercury, which can adversely affect the environment. This free disposal event will keep everything from laptops to televisions out of landfills and recaptures raw materials that can be reused to manufacture new items.
