Some of the University of Michigan's best undergraduate student writers read from their creative works. Students are nominated by their professors, and many of the students have also been nominated for various writing prizes within the University and beyond.
For many student writers, Café Shapiro is a first opportunity to read publicly from their work. For others, it provides a fresh audience, and the chance to experience the work of students they may not encounter in writing classes.
Join us for an evening of sharing at this 18th annual Café Shapiro:
Monday, February 9, 7:00-8:30 pm
Tuesday, February 10, 7:00-8:30 pm
Monday, February 16, 7:00-8:30 pm
Tuesday, February 17, 7:00-8:30 pm
