Alumna Robin Wright, award-winning journalist, author and scholar, is the 2009-10 Mullin Welch speaker. Wright has reported from more than 140 countries on six continents for publications including The Washington Post, The Los Angeles Times, The New Yorker, and The New York Times Magazine. She will discuss female activism in the new millennium, the challenges of female leadership and how women's movements have utilized innovative strategies to induce political and social reform. The lecture will include a question and answer session and be followed by a reception in the atrium.
