speakABLE
a speech event to raise awareness for disabilities
The UM Services for Students with Disabilities (SSD) Student Advisory Board will be sponsoring its second annual student speech event, speakABLE, for disability awareness on campus.
Right now, we are in the process of looking for student speakers for this event. Have a personal experience with a disability (you or someone close to you)? Would you like to share your experience, the things you learned from it, your vision for the future for disabilities at UM? We are looking for YOU.
It is so important to speak out about disabilities to raise awareness for what progress is yet to be made on this campus.
If you are interested in being a student speaker, please email Surabhi Rajaram by Friday, March 20 at surabhi@umich.edu for details.
