UM's contemporary music ensemble, with new conductor and UM alum Christopher James Lees, presents a program of pioneering minimalists Philip Glass, Steve Reich, and others. The program culminates in Frederic Rzewski's Coming Together, a dramatic setting of a letter written by Sam Melville, held in Attica prison during the 1971 prison riot.
