UMMA This festive annual Welcome Week event introduces new UM students to the lively arts scene at Michigan. The “Passport to the Arts” activity, which features games related to each of the arts offered on campus, has become a favorite. Performances and prizes round out the event. This year Artscapade will again take place concurrent with our sister event at the Union, Escapade. These exciting events have typically drawn between 3,500 and 4,000 students.
