Based out of Detroit and Ann Arbor, the Global Jazz Project plays jazz from traditional, to Cuban, to Avant Garde. This performance will include vocalist Kim Vox, Dave Sharp on bass, Jerry LeDuff on percussion and Mark Hershberger on saxophones. They are joined by additional great Detroit players on special request. These unique jazz musicians individually and collectively have 100 years of music performance to their credit, including international and national concerts, festivals, clubs and more. This concert is part of the UMHS Summer Courtyard Concert Series by Gifts of Art.
