The DuPont Brothers, Zach and Sam, spent some years apart but found their relationship reinvigorated by musical collaboration. They formed their indie-folk due in Burlington, Vermont, in March of 2013 and have been living on the road almost ever since, astonishing audiences with their one-of-a-kind family harmonies, fingerstyle guitar arrangements, and varied songwriting palette. Says Seven Days Vermont: “Together the DuPont Brothers resonate at just the right frequency. There were moments that honestly gave me chills." The DuPont Brothers come to Michigan with a new album, "Heavy as Lead," that was recorded partly in an old cabin in Vermont; Maeri Ferguson of The Horn calls it "so pretty it hurts."
