Stephen Ward, Assistant Professor in the Center for Afroamerican and African Studies and the Residential College, and Rick Sperling, Founder and CEO of the Mosaic Youth Theater, will discuss their current collaboration-- a study of and play about the student walkout from Detroit's Northern High School in 1966--as well as previous collaborations between UM student and faculty researchers and the staff and students of the Mosaic Youth Theater.
