Colorectal cancer is the 3rd most common cancer in African Americans. The good news is that it can be prevented.
Dr. Kim Turgeon will speak about colorectal cancer screening. She specializes in colon cancers, inflammatory bowel disease, ulcerative colitis, and Crohn's disease. Bertha Aycock will speak about foods that help protect against cancer. She is a registered dietitian specializing in chronic disease prevention and management.
