Pinchas Zukerman Playing Violin
Founded by Sir Thomas Beecham in 1946, the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra made its UMS debut in 1950 and last performed in Hill Auditorium over 20 years ago. This concert features Pinchas Zukerman both at the helm and as the featured soloist. The program features Edward Elgar’s “Enigma” Variations, each a musical sketch of someone in his close circle of acquaintances.
