Moving from Career Success to Retirement Success
Presenter: Doreen Murasky, LMSW, ACSW Senior Manager for Student Programs
For those anticipating retirement in the next 24 months, this six-session group on preparing for a satisfying retirement will combine exploration of relevant topics with creative expression and supportive discussion. The focus of this group will be on the transition of retirement and the challenges that come with it -- from questions like "How will I define myself?" to “How will I establish priorities and spend my time?”
The series will help you plan for the non-financial aspects of retirement, such as redefining who you are, revisiting what is most important to you, exploring new interests and opportunities, and maintaining social connections. You will also learn about what researchers find makes for a fulfilling retirement.
This series has the capacity for 14 participants, and is open to all U-M staff, faculty and students, as well as the general public. Register here: http://www.cew.umich.edu/events/moving-career-success-retirement-success/20160805
